Maintenance/Grounds Team Supervisor Job Description rnREPORTS TO rnCampground Manager, General Manager and/or Owner(s)rnPOSITION SUMMARY rnResponsible for ensuring the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds are kept to KOA standards. Delegating specific tasks to employees and following up on their progress.rnSPECIFIC DUTIES rnrnComplete as well as oversee carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager or the owner(s).rnOversee daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the Campground Manager or the owner(s), including the pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machine, propane grills, laundry servicing and various other campground equipment upkeep. rnComply with all KOA, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground customers. rnProvide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests needs. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. rnrnEXPECTED RESULTS rnrnCampground buildings, facilities and grounds are well-maintained and fully operational.rnProjects are completed properly, safely and timely.rnDemonstration of a positive attitude with guests, management, and team members.rnNPS scores reflect a clean and well maintained campground.rnUse of safe work practices for a secure work environment for staff and campground guests.rnrn rnJOB QUALIFICATIONS rnrnAdvanced knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installationrnIntermediate knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usagernIntermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensingrnValid Driver's LicensernAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays rnCapable of delegating out projects and following up on said project.rnCapable of managing a group of employees.rnAbility to lead by example and be a role model.rnrnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS rnrnMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularlyrnMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistancernLong periods of standingrnAbility to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb rnMust be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipmentrnRequires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feelrnAble to travel by autornAble to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates rnCapable of moving safely over uneven terrain
