Job Description

Solidigm is seeking talented and motivated students for our Validation Engineering Internships in Mexico. This evergreen posting supports multiple internship opportunities focused on electrical and hardware validation, troubleshooting, and testing for Solidigm's data center SSD products.

As an intern, you will work on real engineering challenges supporting hardware and electrical validation, test execution, and debug workflows for SSD and storage-related technologies.

This internship is ideal for students who enjoy hands-on problem solving, working with hardware and test equipment, and applying troubleshooting and analytical skills to real-world validation challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Interns may be assigned one or more of the following responsibilities based on project needs, team priorities, and individual strengths:

• Support validation and testing of SSD hardware, components, and electrical interfaces.
• Execute test plans, collect data, and troubleshoot issues to verify electrical and functional requirements.
• Assist with debug and root-cause analysis of hardware or system-level issues.
• Use lab equipment and test environments to reproduce issues and support validation activities.
• Work in Linux-based environments to support test execution and data collection.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and validation engineering.
• Create clear documentation for test methods, results, and debug findings.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Returning to school following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics, circuits, or hardware systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• This role is not eligible for candidates requiring VISA sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or other test instrumentation.
• Familiarity with SSDs, storage systems, or electronic/data center hardware.
• Coursework or project experience in circuit analysis, signal testing, or hardware validation.
• Exposure to scripting or automation to support data collection or testing.
• Strong interest in data center storage, electronics, or hardware validation.
