At Dell Technologies, we lead and deliver the analysis, design, programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and modification of software for firmware applications. Our team oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware as well as software operating systems. We also influence product development at all stages. In short, we use the latest AI technology to modify existing solutions, in addition to developing innovative new software and firmware solutions.

What you’ll achieve

As a member of Server Software Engineering Program, you have an opportunity to join one of the elite Software teams, hands-on AI code development projects and work on the revolutionary GPU server product

In the Graduate program, you will experience and understand the technicality of BIOS, FPGA and Validation development activities and collaborate with Hardware engineering to design and deliver the AI server platforms The program provides you with a broader engineering view and helps you build up the skills, perspectives, and connections enabling you to become an engineer leader in your career.

You will:

  • Gain familiarity and experience Dell Technologies engineering team culture
  • Participate and engaged in AI Server Platform development
  • Utilize and deploy AI developed tools for firmware coding development, analyze issues and root cause defects.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and expect to graduate between February 2026 to August 2027
  • Good knowledge of programming languages(C/C++/Python), familiar with AI tools, operating systems, BIOS, networking, embedded software/firmware, tools and utilities, as applicable
  • Knowledge of server and networking technologies
  • Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications
  • Knowledge of software architectures and applications

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
  • Capability to influence others to achieve results
