Schmidt, a Levy Company is accepting applications and resumes for anticipated 2027 seasonal asphalt & paving opportunities throughout Colorado. We are looking for experienced paving professionals and dependable individuals interested in joining our crews for the upcoming construction season

What You'll Do

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include asphalt paving and roadway construction, site preparation, operating equipment, shoveling and raking asphalt, material placement and finishing, equipment inspections, jobsite cleanup, and working closely with the paving crew to complete work safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

Requirements vary by position, but we're looking for candidates who:

• Are dependable, safety-minded and work well as part of a crew
• Have relevant asphalt, paving, construction or heavy-equipment experience where required
• Can work outdoors and perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Hold a valid driver's license when driving is an essential job function
• Hold the appropriate CDL and endorsements for commercial driving positions

Compensation: Anticipated 2027 hourly pay ranges: These are just the starting ranges, pay is DOE and competitive!

• Paving & Asphalt Laborers: Starting at $20.00 hour
• Rakers: Starting at $20 hour
• Roller Operators: Starting at $23.00
• Screed Operators: Starting at $24 hour
• Paving/Equipment Operators: $24 hour
• Loader Operators: $25.00 hour
• CDL/Paving-Support Drivers: $24.00 hour
• Paving Foremen/Crew Leaders: Starting at $30.00 hour

Actual starting pay will depend on the position, relevant experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, licenses or endorsements, internal pay alignment, and other legitimate business considerations.

Seasonal Employment

These are anticipated 2027 seasonal construction opportunities. Available positions, work locations, schedules, start dates and duration may vary based on weather, workload, project schedules and operational needs.
