Job Description

Lead a brand you already love. Start January 2027 on Nestlé's NextGen Graduate Program — Sales & Marketing.

At Nestlé, we believe in nurturing exceptional talent and providing endless opportunities for growth and development. As part of our program, you will work in a collaborative and supportive team environment, gaining practical, hands-on experience in a flexible work setting. Your role will involve enhancing the lives of our loyal consumers who trust and believe in our great products.

Most grad programs hand you a deck to format. We'll hand you a brand. NESCAFÉ. PURINA. MAGGI. KIT KAT. UNCLE TOBYS. MILO. You'll work across grocery, impulse, B2B, distributors, and corporate sales — making decisions that show up on shelves, in numbers, and in your CV. Flexible setup. Real team. No coffee runs (unless it's market research).

A day in the life…

No two days will look the same. Our Graduate Program is designed for curious, adaptable thinkers who enjoy variety and learning through experience.

Across the two year rotational program, your rotations will be shaped by both your development goals and business priorities, giving you exposure to a range of commercial and marketing streams. These may include field sales, shopper marketing, sales, customer marketing, brand marketing, digital and e‑commerce.

From day one, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working on real projects, solving day‑to‑day challenges, and learning best practice ways of working in a fast moving FMCG environment.

As part of your journey, you may also have opportunities to relocate across different Nestlé Australia sites, enabling you to broaden your experience, build strong networks, and grow your career within a truly global organisation.

What will set you up for success

  • You’ll be supported by a tailored development program designed to build your capability, strengthen your leadership skills, and prepare you for long term career success at Nestlé. We’re looking for graduates who bring curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn, along with the following:
  • A completed University Degree (disciplines may include—but are not limited to—Business, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Innovation, Communications, or Digital), completed within the last two years or in your final year of study.
  • Demonstrated digital, artificial intelligence and social media capability, with a strategic mindset and the confidence to influence and bring stakeholders along the journey.
  • Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency). Please note visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • A current, valid full Australian driver’s licence and confidence driving. The first 12 months include a field sales rotation requiring regular use of a company vehicle. Learner or provisional licences will not be accepted at the time of employment.
  • Flexibility to be based in Sydney or Melbourne, inclusive of Regional VIC and NSW locations, with a genuine willingness to relocate within Australia as part of your rotations.
  • A self-motivated, innovative and adaptable mindset, combining a results driven approach with the ambition and capability to evolve into a future leader in a collaborative fast paced team environment.

Company Benefits

  • Competitive salary + attractive bonus program
  • Up to 5 ‘KitKat Days’ each year to rest, recharge and support your wellbeing
  • Personalised development and varied career opportunities within a global FMCG leader
  • Wellbeing perks including free flu vaccinations, discounted private health insurance, and discounted gym memberships including access to Fitness Passport
  • Access to Purchased Leave, Volunteering Leave, Sports Leave and Emergency Services Leave
  • Up to 18 weeks Paid Parental Leave
  • Discounts on Nestlé products and offers from our retail and service partners
  • Novated leasing options
  • Salary sacrifice to superannuation

About Nestlé

As the world’s largest food and beverage company we are driven by a simple aim: unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come. To deliver on this, we serve with passion, with a spirit of excellence, offering products and services for all stages of life, every moment of the day, helping people care for themselves and their families. Our culture is based on our values rooted in respect: respect for ourselves, respect for others, respect for diversity and respect for the future.

We can trace our origin back to 1866, when the first European condensed milk factory was opened in Cham, Switzerland, by the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company. One year later, Henri Nestlé, a trained pharmacist, launched one of the world’s first prepared infant cereals ‘Farine lactée’ in Vevey, Switzerland.

Today, we employ around 273,000 people and have factories or operations in almost every country in the world. With our headquarters still based in the Swiss town of Vevey, we had sales of CHF 84.3 billion in 2020.

Our portfolio covers almost every food and beverage category – offering products and services for all stages of life, every moment of the day, helping people care for themselves and their families.
