Our story began when founder Westye Bakke sought a reliable way to store life-saving insulin for his young son. That urgency sparked a breakthrough in refrigeration and led to the founding of Sub-Zero Freezer Company in 1945. Bakke's commitment to quality continues under third-generation family leadership today.
The addition of Wolf brought professional-grade cooking into the home, drawing on decades of commercial kitchen expertise. Cove completed the kitchen suite with dishwashers developed through extensive testing to deliver exceptional cleaning and drying performance.
