About The Role 

We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications thatleveragesour integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transactioncommunicationsand public affairs in all the major markets around the world.

FTI Consulting Brussels is looking for interns to join our growing team. If you are looking to work in a dynamic and thriving sector team that crosses multiple issues, then this is the position for you. We are providing a 6monthsinternship with great support.

As an Intern, you will work on different client accounts, support senior colleagues in building new businessopportunitiesand be involved in general day-to-day support of operations.

What You'll Do 

  • Deliver to clientsMonitorinstitutional and regulatory developments for client files; draft reports and provide analysis on policy developments;writereports on research, both on general and specific subjects.

  • Build the business Help develop practice and wider marketing initiatives to positively position the firm and practice in the market; drive clientprogrammesforward with day-to-day support of operations.

  • Team involvement:Work alongside senior colleagues on building development activities such as pitch preparation and delivery; manage client projects and accounts and actively drive the business forward.

  • Networking:Build connections in the industry through networks with EU contacts and stakeholders as well as potential clients.

You will have the opportunity to work in some of the most challenging and fascinating public policy issues currently being tackled in Europe,advisinga broad range of clients in the Healthcare and Life Science, Financial Services, Energy or Legal services sector. You will be part of a dynamic and multinational team of experts based in Brussels and you will be able to work closely with our international professionals in strategic communications, economics, corporate finance, forensic litigationconsultingand technology.

What You Will Need to Succeed  

Basic Qualifications

  • Completed master’s degreerequired Studies in the fields oflaw,political science, international relations, EU policy,journalism,relatedareas are a plus.

  • Proven skills and/or interest in politics, public affairs, advocacy,issuesand reputation management.

  • Excellent Englishisa must Additional European languagespreferable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding and experience of working with policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels and in national capitals to furtherbusinessobjectives

  • PreviousEU institutions orlaw firmexperience would be a plus.

  • Interest inregulation and policy discussions.

  • Experience in-house, in a trade body, in a public institution, or advising clients on policy and communications issues.

  • Strong research,analyticaland writing skills

  • Focus on detail andtimelydelivery.

  • Goodorganisationand presentation skills with a keenness for client and project management.

  • Ability to digest andsummariseinformation to key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Great teamspirit and determination.

  • Availability to travel
