RCH is a cornerstone member of the Melbourne Children’s Campus, partnering with Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics and The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

RCH has cared for the children and young people of Victoria for more than 150 years since it was founded in 1870. A full range of paediatrics and adolescent health services are provided plus tertiary and quaternary care for the most critically ill and medically complex patients in Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and other states around Australia and overseas. The Hospital has more than 6,000 staff, a budget of $850M, 12 wards and 350 beds. Annually, the RCH has 300,000+ Specialist Clinic appointments, 90,000+ Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.

Applications are now open for a Fellow in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology to join the team from February 2027 for 12 months. This position is part-time (0.53 FTE).

We provide a diagnostic and treatment source for paediatric and adolescent gynaecology problems. We offer both outpatient and inpatient care including a wide range of investigative procedures.

It is our aim to provide the very best of care for girls, young women and gender diverse young people, backed up with research and education.

We deliver the highest quality clinical care to children and families. We play a vital role in increasing awareness, understanding and knowledge of Gynaecology problems in the community and amongst health professionals through education, teaching and training. We play a leadership role in the development and improvement of health care policies and guidelines related to Gynaecology problems. We also actively identify and pursue research priorities to prevent and improve management of these conditions.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
