
The Wesco Customer Materials Development Program is a twelve-month training program designed to prepare Associates for many opportunities within Wesco. Associates will gain knowledge of warehouse and operations, gain exposure to creative selling strategies and overall business acumen, establish project management skills and gain product and industry knowledge, all while supporting and resolving issues for customers, managing customer’s inventory and expanding their professional networks throughout Wesco. Associates work directly under the supervision of a senior member of the Customer Materials Management Team and are paired with a peer mentor (previous program graduate). Successful completion of the program results in a full-time position. Completing the program means that an Associate has successfully completed the entire twelve-month training program and its requirements. Your work is closely managed.

Working Environment:
General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Outside Sales – Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing. Operates heavy equipment. Strict safety regulations may be required.
Physical Expectations:
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
