Our Global Business Center (GBC) in Buenos Aires was established in 2004 and our diverse and multinational workforce of more than 2500 colleagues have been powering ExxonMobil’s global businesses ever since. We are proud to be part of an inclusive, safe, and vibrant work environment.
The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration through site development to production.

What role you will play in our team

• IT Professionals responsible for turning business requirements into application solutions through design, configuration, development, implementation, and support. This can include on-prem, PaaS and Cloud applications, as well as solutions built via automation tools, low code tools, integration and API platforms.
• Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with developers and users from all around the world.

What you will do

• Designing, developing and maintaining applications and APIs
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks
• Participating in code reviews
• Ensuring security and data protection
• Managing the deployment process
• Understand and follows Application Lifecycle Management, including requirements gathering, change management, release management and support models
• Provides solution support and troubleshooting

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• We are seeking candidates with varied levels of experience in a Software Developer role, applying DevOps principles.
• Experience with .NET framework, C# coding, JavaScript & JavaScript Framework. SQL coding and Data Management.
• Knowledgeable of code versioning tools (e.g. Git) and have experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Github Actions)
• Experience developing applications on any Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
• Experience with web frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, Vue.
• Knowledge of API design and development.
• Proficiency in debugging and problem solving.
• Experience building data models and data access layers against SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Basic knowledge of unit testing.
• Working experience in an Agile organization.
