Term of Employment: Continuing
Salary and Benefits: According to the provincial salary grid (www.stf.sk.ca) plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.

Qualifications:

  • Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
  • Additional coursework in Special/Inclusive Education would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of First Nations, M�tis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
  • Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience
  • Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, adaptive dimension, differentiation, curriculum, environment and assessment
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently

The successful candidate will:

  • Work within a team to help address issues of complexity. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one behavioural/safety interventions, individual or small group programming to address specialized learning needs of students, acute learning needs, modifications or adaptations of programming, counselling services, self-regulation education, etc
  • Other duties as assigned by the school administration
