Equitable's Wealth Management team is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to contribute to meaningful work that shapes how we support clients and financial professionals across the country. As part of this team, you'll gain hands‑on experience analyzing market trends, supporting strategic initiatives, and helping develop insights that drive decision‑making across our Retirement and Wealth Management businesses.
In this role, you'll be working with leaders across Wealth Management, contributing to meaningful projects, and building executive‑ready deliverables that showcase your skills. What You'll Be Doing
- Support market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior within Wealth Management
- Analyze data and create insights that help shape strategy for Retirement and Wealth Management initiatives
- Assist in developing executive‑ready presentations, dashboards, and summaries for leadership
- Partner with team members across Wealth Management to support ongoing strategic projects
- Help evaluate business performance, product positioning, and opportunities for growth
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross‑functional discussions
- Contribute fresh ideas, creative problem‑solving, and a student perspective to key team initiatives
Internship Details
Dates: Nine week program starting in early June 2026
Hourly Rate: $22/hour
Location: New York, NY; Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days in office combining flexibility with team collaboration.

What You'll Bring
- Must be entering your junior or senior year of college at the time of the internship
- Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to turn data and insights into clear, compelling narratives
- Interest in financial services, wealth management, or business strategy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to data tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with leaders and cross‑functional teams
- Self‑starter mindset with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment

- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate data, processes, and tools to identify insights, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation of findings and effective collaboration with functional stakeholders.
- Technical and digital fluency, including comfort with core productivity tools and the ability to quickly learn new systems, platforms, and AI‑enabled technologies.
- Program coordination and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage details, and support multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
