Job Description

SME's Co-op assignment begins in mid-May and requires a commitment to work full-time though early-December 2026. There is no minimum number of years of college education to apply for our Co-op program, but our Summer Internships are only available to those who have previously completed a Co-op with SME.

Your Co-op experience begins with an orientation/training period lasting several weeks followed by on-the-job training with full-time SME Team Members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Support data analysis efforts to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Gain exposure to data pipelines, APIs, and ETL processes under guidance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs.
  • Help document reports, data sources, and analytics processes.
  • Learn and apply modern analytics tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of data concepts and analytical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to ask questions.
