The Software organization develops software applications, including integration and test on missiles, launchers, radars, naval systems, fire control and other complex systems. The Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) business unit focuses on developing state-of-the-art Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) technologies and systems for a variety of mission-critical applications. We are at the forefront of innovation, providing advanced solutions that enhance situational awareness and operational effectiveness.
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer I with experience in C++ and Linux to join our team in the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) business unit, supporting EO/IR programs. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of software solutions that power next-generation EO/IR systems for critical aerospace and defense applications. This is an entry-level role ideal for those passionate about software engineering and eager to grow their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
