We are looking for graduates for our Rail team, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. A Little bit more about your role and the team…

We are currently looking for a Graduate Consultant to join our Rail team. This role will provide the perfect first step into a consultancy career in an exciting and rapidly changing sector. From day one you'll be part of a team supporting more senior consultants in delivering projects to clients. The successful applicant will have excellent numeracy and analytical skills gained from an engineering background, strong writing skills, a proactive, organised approach and a commitment to producing high quality work with a high level of attention to detail.

As a Graduate Consultant, you will manage your time across several projects, contributing at all phases, from supporting the preparation of proposals to win new contracts, through delivering the project and liaising with clients. You will be responsible for the quality and delivery of your work, and liaise with other consultants to incorporate your contribution into wider project outputs.

We will also devote time to help you acquire valuable client management techniques and important ‘soft’ skills, delivering presentations, project management, people management etc. to build up your commercial strengths.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate

You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Rail Systems or Systems Engineering. To assist you in finding potential areas of the business that are relevant to you. Please visit our Graduate brochure or website Graduate brochure or Graduate Website

  • Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions. This requirement applies to all candidates, inclusive of their background. Successful completion of this stage is mandatory. Candidates who pass this initial stage, will then be required to complete an online skill enabler assessment. Both the application form and the skill enabler assessment are essential parts of the early career’s recruitment process.
