Design Workshop is looking for energetic and motivated students to join our in-person 2026 Fall Internship Program in our Basalt (Aspen), CO and Tahoe, NV studios. During this spring semester program, participants will experience a dynamic, creative design environment. These studios have openings for internships: Aspen and Tahoe.
What’s in it for you: Resume and skill-building experience. Work will include project research, site visits, sketching, computer production, design reviews, and marketing proposal assistance.
What we’re looking for Students with exceptional graphic, AutoCAD, analysis, and digital production skills with proficiency in Adobe Suite and 3-D modeling (3-D Max and/or SketchUp). A positive attitude and open mind are a must. The ability to work in-studio is a must.
Who can apply: We will accept applications from recent graduates and students pursuing degrees in landscape architecture, urban design, or planning. Those with dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design or planning are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to relocate for the internship.

The pay for this position is $22-24 per hour, based on experience. This position is not benefits eligible.
