As an AI Engineer Intern at Trend Micro, you'll work on building innovative applications that leverage AI technologies to create practical business solutions. This role combines software engineering with AI implementation to develop production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI-powered applications using modern frameworks and best practices
  • Build and integrate AI models into production-ready applications
  • Create interactive prototypes and proof-of-concepts using various AI technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI)
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud services
  • Previous experience in building web applications
  • Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
