
TITLE: STOREKEEPER
DEPARTMENT: R&D WAREHOUSE
WORK HOURS: 7.5 hours per day � 37.5 hours per work week
CONTRACT LENGTH: 236 days
SALARY: Support Services (CBA) Salary Schedule ($33,881.00 - $40,934.00)

To store and distribute a wide variety of supplies and equipment and maintain records of all capital equipment for the District.
Storekeeper : Duties assigned include receiving items, checking request for conformance with procedures, stocking, loading, and delivering goods to all District schools and locations, up to 150 miles from the central warehouse. Further, duties include using mechanized moving equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
Duties as assigned include using judgment and resourcefulness in tailoring the existing guidelines so they can be applied to particular circumstances and to deal with emergencies. Performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of warehouse files and records.

Experience and Training Guidelines:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be two years of warehouse or inventory control experience, including experience working with the public.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a current, valid New Mexico State driver's license with a great driving record.
CDL Class B endorsement preferred or ability to obtain this endorsement.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the job and access the environment for which you are hired. The following may be required: Sitting, standing, lifting, moving about the room or school, carrying (up to 50 pounds), reaching, squatting, kneeling, prolonged typing, physical ability to type on a keyboard terminal, and moving light furniture. Driving routes of up to 300 miles round trip.
Equipment/Technology Handled:
Must know how to properly operate or be willing to learn to operate all multimedia equipment including current technology.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality. Interruptions of work are routine. Flexibility and patience are required. Must be self-motivated and able to complete job assignments without direct supervision.
After-hours work may be required.
