Position Requirements
Seeking a day doc Anesthesiologist. Great work life balance with 2 wks. on and 1 wk. off - No Call. Riverside Walter Reed Hospital is a short term acute care facility in historic Gloucester, VA. This 67-bed facility is home to a 24-hour emergency service and a 12,000-square-foot intensive care unit. As part of the Riverside Health System, Walter Reed also has direct access to Riverside Regional Medical Center's Level II trauma center, a nationally recognized Heart Center, and an 18-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: 2 weeks on and 1 week off - Days only/no call
• Endo, ortho, ophthalmology, general, urology, vascular, GYN, ENT
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
