Job Description

Abacus Staffing is seeking skilled Roll Clamp Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center in WALTON KY. Starting on TUESDAY 5/26. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating clamp truck forklifts to transport rolls of corrugated iron or cardboard and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Schedule

• Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with opportunity for overtime on Saturdays.
• $19.50 per hour

Duties

• Operate roll clamp forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain optimal workflow and meet daily operational goals.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with a Roll Clamp Forklift - candidates without experience will not be considered.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• 1-year proven forklift experience is required.
