Quality Technician
Cincinnati, OH


Nolte Precise Manufacturing, located on the west side of Cincinnati Ohio, is in need of a 1st Shift Quality Technician First shift is 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on an as needed basis (may include Friday shifts).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete designated inspections and record result in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process non-conforming material reports
  • Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS
  • Support production personnel quality questions and initiatives
  • Participate in the calibration program
  • Verify daily maintenance and 5S standards
  • Communicate work status
  • Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies
  • Maintain acceptable attendance
  • Any specifically assigned task


Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate and convey information to others
  • Must be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform task
  • Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shift
  • Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications
  • Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner
  • Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics
  • Ability to prepare basic communication and reports
  • Advanced blueprint reading
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Ability to use calibration tooling
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus
  • CMM programming knowledge is a plus
  • Oasis programming knowledge is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Discus is a plus


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift average of 25 lbs including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.
  • Must be able to work with oils/coolants
  • Must be able to work in noisy environment
  • Must be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of time
