Provide new hire training to Caterpillar employees and agency associates. Responsible for coordinating, documenting, maintaining, and scheduling other required training as needed.

• Teach CAT employees how to assemble
• Assist the production floor with additional coaching/training of current assemblers
• Review and assess employee work training needs
• Review and update training plans and programs as needed
• Update and maintain training records
• Assist with coordination of training schedule
• Must have 3-5 years of assembly experience

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have at least “Expected” or higher rating on most recent evaluation
• Must have 3 - 5 years of assembly experience
• Must certified in crane operations
• Must have knowledge of torque processes

Top candidates will also have:

• Team Lead experience
• Previous training, coaching or teaching experience
• Post-secondary education
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience in lifting device manufacturing, testing or inspection
• Advanced oral and written communications skills
• Ability to analyze and organize training reference material
• Advanced knowledge of assembly processes

Shift Information

• Monday- Thursday 6am- 2:30pm

* This is a PART TIME opening. Maximum 32hrs a week

• This is a 1st shift hourly position in Athens, GA starting at $26.62 /hour

Pay Range:

$26.62 - $33.25
