Job Description

Abacus Staffing is seeking skilled material handlers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Positions available as follows:

• 2 x Openings for Packers - RF scanner proficient, prepping pallets, building labels, understanding work orders and shipping labels, labelling cases - ability to read, write and understand English | $17 per hour | Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
• 3 x Openings for General Labor - Heavy lifting - Pallet loading, case pick, RF scanner proficient - ability to read, write and understand English |$16.50 per hour | Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Duties:

- Handle and transport materials or products to designated areas
- Build, wrap, pack, and label pallets for shipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently

Experience:

- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
- Experience as an order picker is advantageous

- Ability to read, write and understand English
