At our Green Bay facility, we produce and package dairy and non‑dairy sauces, including queso, BBQ, icing, and marinara, for our customers across the country. Our team supports both refrigerated and shelf‑stable products that are made with a focus on quality, safety, and consistency.

  • Pay starts at $28.00 per hour and increases based upon experience, education, and qualifications
  • 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 4:50 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Overtime is required based on business and production needs and is typically planned and posted in advance

Perform skilled maintenance and mechanical activities to ensure all manufacturing equipment operates safely, effectively, and efficiently. Install, repair, and rebuild machinery, including performing preventative maintenance, overhauls, modifications, fabrication, welding, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. Construct machine guards and shields and complete facility maintenance tasks as needed. Work independently on routine assignments and serve as a resource for less experienced team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance and repairs on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment following all safety procedures
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to assess equipment reliability and performance
  • Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks
  • Install new equipment and assist with equipment changeovers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures to minimize downtime
  • Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques
  • Service facility systems such as HVAC, boilers, water softeners, and basic plumbing as needed
  • Complete work orders accurately and document all repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Maintain communication with other departments and management regarding equipment status and production impact
  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Automation or related discipline or 8+ years of hands-on maintenance experience without a degree
  • 2 to 4 years of experience performing maintenance activities involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC, and HVAC systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with a variety of equipment including lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment
  • Forklift certification may be required
  • Additional certifications or licenses may be required during employment

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and taking corrective action to prevent equipment downtime
  • Skilled in using maintenance tools, hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely
  • Ability to perform maintenance activities and repairs independently and assist on complex repairs
  • Ability to plan and execute minor to mid-sized projects from start to installation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to present options and ideas for process improvements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
  • Intermediate math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance work order systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
