1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing client operation to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for a 1st shift role. This is a critical leadership position responsible for keeping production running, minimizing downtime, and leading a high-performing maintenance team.

What You’ll Own

• Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring work orders are completed on time and production disruptions are handled quickly
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–20 maintenance technicians
• Drive execution of preventive maintenance programs across production equipment and facility systems
• Schedule, assign, and monitor maintenance work to support production goals and reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Partner with production and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues
• Track key maintenance metrics, including downtime, completion rates, and overall equipment performance

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production setting and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
• Experience managing preventive maintenance schedules and driving execution
• Solid leadership presence, you can hold a team accountable while developing their capabilities
