Abacus is sourcing qualified associates for 2nd shift. Plenty of overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory management practices to ensure stock levels are monitored and recorded.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Use RF Scanners to pick items
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Build pallets for storage or shipment according to company standards.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Skills

• Experience with order picking and fulfillment processes within a distribution center setting.
• Proficiency in materials handling techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Experience in with shipping and receiving.
