We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a temporary-to-hire position in Chester, VA The successful candidate will specialize in operating forklifts equipped with clamp and barrel attachments to safely move, stack, and stage specialized inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Attachment Operation: Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts using specialized roll clamps and barrel/drum clamps.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and stack cylindrical, fragile, or heavy non-palletized materials.
• Inventory Control: Verify product labels, match inventory to shipping manifests, and log data into the warehouse management system.
• Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections, report defects, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience is strictly required.
• Specialized Skillset: Proven hands-on experience utilizing clamp and barrel attachments is mandatory.
• Location: Ability to reliably commute to our facility located in Chester, VA
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods, and work in varied warehouse temperatures.
