We are looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join Temperature+ System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who excels at attention to detail, working in a team environment, and maintaining high standards to drive our production success.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly at appropriate location, including programming transmitters and using laser
  • Fabricate sub-components as needed using various tools and machines
  • Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation
  • Conduct calibration for devices as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory and notify supervisor of adjustments or scrap
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks
  • Participate and assist with cross training employees on production processes where applicable
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5S Lean concepts
  • Use SAP and ABAKUS software systems to look up or enter information
  • Adhere to the safety guidelines for the work area
  • Assist and maintain ISO procedures and documents that apply to position
  • Determine the correct pack to use for each device
  • Pack devices ensuring no damage during shipment
  • Perform all functions to ensure highest quality and value of delivery to the customer
  • All other duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

  • Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
  • Able to use hand tools, power tools and operate machines
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams and production orders
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related fabrication experience or equivalent professional training.
  • Must be detail oriented
