The Cutter Operator’s primary function is to operate the cutter machine
according to production demands and customer specifications.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Must be flexible with hours and work overtime when needed.
3rd Shift hours: Sunday-Thursday
11 PM-7 AM

Essential Functions:
Keep workstation, machinery and materials clean and safe.
Maintain quality
Maintain production
Change blade
Maintain cutter
Work with scheduler on workflow
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Note: The cutter Operator will train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks.
Competencies:
Verbal and written professional communication skill.
Attention to detail
Team Player/Shows initiative/ Time management
Ability to interact and negotiate with vendors
Problem Solving/Analysis
Knowledge of printing production
Demonstrated mechanical abilities on complex machinery
Basic PC knowledge

Could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles involved in a printing environment. Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderately loud.
Physical Demands
The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job:
Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required.
The ability to remain in a standing position for long periods of time is required.
The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read, and follow verbal directions in English is required. The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal, and vertical positions is required,
The ability to utilize fine motor skills while working ion sensitive machinery is essential.
The ability to perform repetitive upper body motions is required.
The ability to read a ruler is essential.
