Job Description
Central Saskatchewan Co-op is hiring a Permanent Full-Time 1A Driver for our Petroleum department in Humboldt, SK.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
- Carrying out fuel deliveries in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service to our customers.
- Coming to work with a positive professional approach and attitude.
- Handling products and equipment in accordance with established safety regulations for dangerous goods, WHMIS, the environment and driving practices.
- Ensuring accuracy of all necessary driver reports, bulk load, and pump reports. Utilize the BRIC system to full capacity.
- Maintaining and cleaning the delivery unit, keeping a record of all regular maintenance required, and scheduling appointments when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You desire a career in the bulk petroleum industry and:
- You have a valid class 1A Driver’s License is required.
- You are willing to submit your drivers abstract.
- Have petroleum product knowledge and experience hauling petroleum.
- You have the ability to work independently and take direction.
- Are mechanically inclined and have basic automotive repair skills.
- Willing and able to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends including the flexibility to work increased hours during peak seasons and be on call when required.
- Able to interact with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Maintain good physical condition, physically able to do heavy lifting of 50lbs unassisted, climb ladders and kneel.
