We are seeking a professional
Reporting Specialist
to design, build, and support operational reports for end users using enterprise reporting tools (such as Stimulsoft) and Microsoft SQL Server.
This is a hands-on role focused on translating business requirements into accurate, high-performance production reports that users rely on daily. You will be responsible for designing report layouts, developing optimized SQL queries, validating data accuracy, and ensuring reliable report delivery across the organization.
The role requires close collaboration with end users and stakeholders to define reporting needs, facilitate user acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve report performance and usability. Success in this role means delivering reports that are accurate, fast, well-formatted, and trusted by the business.
5+ years of experience building operational reports using tools such as
Stimulsoft, SSRS, Crystal Reports, JasperReports, or similar platforms
.
Strong experience with
Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
(joins, CTEs, window functions, views, stored procedures).
Solid understanding of reporting fundamentals: grouping, pagination, totals, subreports, parameter design, and export formatting (PDF/Excel).
Experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries for performance and accuracy.
Ability to diagnose and resolve data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
Experience gathering requirements from end users and translating them into clear reporting specifications.
Experience supporting UAT, validating outputs, and ensuring business sign-off.
Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users.
Experience documenting report logic, data sources, parameters, and dependencies.
Understanding of data security principles (role-based access, least privilege).
