Job Description

We are hiring a Field Service Technician I to perform maintenance on stormwater systems and vegetation management across multiple job sites. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, operating equipment, and traveling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stormwater systems and manage vegetation
• Operate equipment (mowers, UTVs, spray equipment, hand tools)
• Apply herbicides safely and in compliance with regulations
• Inspect systems and report issues
• Load/unload materials and maintain equipment
• Communicate with customers on-site
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Comfortable using mobile apps/technology for reporting
• Team-oriented and reliable
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Herbicide license (or willingness to obtain)
• TWIC card (or ability to obtain within 120 days)
• Previous field, landscaping, or outdoor work experience

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to uneven terrain, water, and wildlife
• Use of PPE and safety equipment required
