Salary: £13.05 - £13.47 per hour

Hours of work: 12.33 hours per week as a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant

Contract type: Temporary, linked to a named child

All about the role:

Are you enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated? Westwood with Iford Primary School is looking for a dedicated 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school family. This part-time role includes supporting pupils during lessons and assisting our midday supervisory team over the lunch break.

At our school, we pride ourselves on a diverse workforce where every staff member plays a vital role. Working closely under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENDCo, you will deliver planned learning activities and specialised programmes to support a specific student.

What we are looking for

  • someone ideally with experience of working with SEN students, preferably in a primary environment.
  • the ability to work effectively in a team and confident in supporting students in their progress through the curriculum.
  • good organisational skills, flexible working practices and patience are also essential.
  • someone who is confident in providing intimate personal care and able to manage personal care plans and delivery of medication.
  • who can align with the vision and values of Westwood with Iford School and the Palladian Academy Trust.

Training will be provided.
