Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Record keeping of student attendance, student records, report cards and student scheduling.

PAY GRADE: N-207- Grade 4 - Salary Range: $26,340.00 to $40,302.00. Salary placement will be based on Douglas County Board of Education approved salary schedules and years of verified experience.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 207 Days (11 Months)

REPORTS TO: Principal

EDUCATION LEVEL: High School Graduate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; jobs are sedentary if working and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PROFICIENT SKILLS: Computer and bookkeeping/record keeping skills; general knowledge of all office equipment; maintain confidentiality of all records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Essential duties are assigned to the 11-Month Office Clerk based on the needs of the school and may vary from one school to another.

1. Demonstrates regular attendance and is punctual
2. Enter and maintain all student attendance records daily 3. Maintain all student permanent records/cards 4. Process all student records request 5. Assist with calculating the graduation rate. 6. Process all new student records and assign schedules 7. Prepare records for storage at the records center 8. Transfer student records to other schools 9. Perform other duties assigned by the principal
