The Role
We are currently looking to add independent contractors to our Success Coaching Team to provide industry-leading services directly to TimelyCare members to improve student outcomes through a personalized and holistic approach to supporting students in achieving their academic preparedness, financial wellness and career readiness goals.
The role of the Success Coach is to provide guidance, mentorship and navigation to resources to help students plot a successful course for their educational journey. Success Coaches assist with academic planning, goal setting, time management, accessing campus resources, and other strategies to offer timely intervention, connect students to resources, and offer support when needed.
Expected Availability Hours Per Calendar Week:
TimelyCare requests that 1099 Success Coach Providers are able to offer a minimum of 8 hours of availability per week (Monday-Sunday).
Qualifications for Engagement
Required: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
3+ years experience providing student support services
Experience providing student success coaching in areas such as time management, goal setting, note taking, budgeting, stress management, and career readiness
Access to a computer with a webcam, a smart phone, and a stable, reliable internet connection
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse communities
Services May Include
Providing success coaching to undergraduate, graduate and alumni students through our Success Coaching service
Adhering to established policies, procedures, and care guidelines for quality service and documentation
Ability to establish and maintain professional rapport that fosters trust and longitudinal student engagement through the success coaching process
Collaboration with members to develop SMART goals and effective, sustainable strategies that address each member's unique needs
Use of coaching strategies that are evidence-based and member centered
Development of member specific success coaching plans
Collaboration, when appropriate, with other care providers to support continuity of care
Documentation is completed in a timely manner within the TimelyCare platform in accordance with applicable legal and clinical requirements
Service Standards & Considerations
Comfortable with audio and video sessions
Able to establish rapport, build trust, maintain boundaries, and engage with members using a supportive approach
Able to adapt to the changing needs of members we serve and support member autonomy in working towards their individual goals
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practice guidelines
Able to practice within the scope of the Success Coaching role
Able to deliver Success Coaching services in accordance with applicable professional ethics and standards of care
Compensation
$30 per completed coaching session
Partial compensation for late cancellations and no shows
Malpractice insurance is provided
