Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper or accounts senior to join a well established hospitality group incorporating 6 restaurants and 1 retail store.

Requirements:

• 5 years plus bookkeeping or accounts senior work
• Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and Procure Wizard desirable
• Comfortable using excel
• Excellent Communication and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and capable to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines
• Willingness to take on more accounts work as the role progresses

Responsibilities:

• Purchase invoice & credit note entry
• Ensuring all credit notes are received for supplier accounts
• Bank transaction postings to Sage 50 accounts
• Maintaining and reconciling monthly creditor ledger
• Maintaining and reconciling monthly debtor ledger and chasing o/s invoices for payment
• Assisting with monthly supplier payment run
• Monthly management accounts reconciled to trial balance stage by 8th of following month
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Salary 40k-45k
