Job Description

Our client in Dublin 12 is looking for general warehouse operators to move packages and material around their facilities.

Responsibilities :

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of parts/products using manual handling techniques
• Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
• Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner
• Ensuring all products are free from damage and reporting any discrepancies
• Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports
• Checking the picking accuracy
• High-response and accurate order picking
• Moving pallets using a forklift truck
• Work closely within warehouse team to ensure procedures are followed
• Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• You will be required to operate a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety
• The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency
• This is a demanding role that requires lifting and moving items and covering a large warehouse on foot

Requirements :

• Able to meet the physical demands of the role
• Forklift experience and certification would be preferable
• Good all-round communication skills
• Previous manual handling training or experience
• Candidates must be:
  
• Willing and able to frequently push, pull, bend, and reach
• Climb and descend stairs/steps & ladders safely
• Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired

Package :

• 30K - 35K DOE
• Optional Overtime
