Job Description

We are looking for a Group Reservations Executive to join our client's team in their Head Office on Dublin's Harcourt Street.

The Italian Group Tours Executive is directly involved in the general administration of Italian bookings, liaising with clients, and providing support to the Sales team in the process.

Responsibilities:

• Reacting promptly to customer inquiries and delivering excellent customer service
• Providing a high level of product information
• Processing bookings and payments
• Resolving customer queries using your own initiative in a prompt manner
• Liaising with partners at destinations to ensure the appropriate delivery of ground services
• Processing passenger details in advance of travel
• Ticketing and issuing travel documents
• Participating on Sales & Marketing activities
• Preparing sample itineraries and proposals in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams
• Following up with clients on the return of tours
• Assisting colleagues in a prompt and helpful manner and in the best interest of the operation

Requirements:

• Experience working with group tours and/or organising travel arrangements
• Strong administration and excellent communication skills
• Positive friendly character and excellent customer focus
• Ability to react promptly to customer inquiries and close bookings
• Strong knowledge of European destinations
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a busy environment and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and reacting promptly to urgent needs
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of a European language other than English an advantage but not essential
