Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Tech sales person for our client based in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. The package for this role is 50K+ and many benefits such as bonus, company vehicle and career progression.

Duties and Responsibilities will include;

• Specifying, promoting, presenting, and selling a portfolio of products/services to existing and prospective customers to agreed targets.
• Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
• Calling on Contractors & following through to close quotations and sales opportunities.
• Calling on Architects in conjunction to seek opportunities to specify company products.
• Participate in weekly and monthly sales & planning meetings and track progress on sales opportunities

Essential Requirements;

• Minimum 3 years of successful sales & site experience within the Construction Industry
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• An understanding of the full life cycle of Construction Sector projects.
• Highly motivated and target driven.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• A proven capacity to learn new industry products.
• Ability to work to agreed business plans
• Strong PC Skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Office.

Daily duties will involve;

• Assessing customer requirements, through pro-active interaction and based on experience and product knowledge, and the reviewing of relevant technical information including technical drawings to determine the appropriate specification of materials & systems.
• Responding professionally and in appropriate detail to requests for quotations, including tender documents.
• Following up enquiries received from Internal Sales and preparing proposals for customers to meet these enquiries.
• Logging enquiries on the sales system, CRM in our case.
• Proactively following up enquiries with customers, and in doing so, keeping the sales enquiry database up to date.
• Visiting customers occasionally and as required, initially for training purposes and also for project meetings and general sales calls.
