This role requires full-time dedication, with clear priority given to Darwoft projects during established working hours. It is not compatible with other full-time professional engagements.
Any additional professional activities must be disclosed in advance and must not interfere with the responsibilities or working hours of this role.
At Darwoft, we build custom software solutions and partner with international companies to create high-impact digital products.
We are a Latin American technology company with a people-first culture, strong professional standards, and a long-term partnership mindset. We work with distributed teams, complex product challenges, and clients whose technology has a direct impact on their business and users.
We are partnering with a fast-growing fintech company building financial products for Latino communities in the United States.
Behind its customer-facing financial experience is a complex operational ecosystem involving payments, compliance reviews, risk controls, customer support, partner banks, transaction monitoring, and internal approvals.
As AI agents become increasingly involved in these workflows, the company is building a new internal platform where employees can delegate work to agents, monitor execution, review results, approve sensitive actions, and understand what happened without having to supervise every step
The goal is to create a unified operating system for human and AI collaboration across internal teams.
This is not a traditional dashboard redesign.
It is an opportunity to help define how people interact with autonomous agents inside a regulated financial organization.
We are looking for a Product Designer to own the design of an agentic intranet and the internal operational tools surrounding it.
You will design the interfaces where employees decide what work should be delegated to AI agents, understand what those agents are doing, review their proposals, intervene when necessary, and approve actions that may affect customers or financial operations.
The product spans multiple environments — including an internal intranet, Slack workflows, and specialized operations consoles — but needs to behave as one coherent system
The challenge is therefore broader than visual consistency.
You will help define the vocabulary, interaction patterns, trust mechanisms, status models, permissions, approval flows, and behavioral conventions that make human-agent collaboration understandable and safe.
You will work directly with the people using these tools every day, allowing you to observe workflows, test ideas rapidly, and measure whether the product is actually improving how work gets done.
AI fluency is a core part of this role.
We are looking for designers who actively use AI tools as part of their product development workflow rather than treating them only as research or content-generation tools.
Examples may include:
The expectation is not simply that you understand AI products.
You should be comfortable building with AI tools yourself and using them to increase the speed, range, and quality of your design process.
Beyond tools and portfolio quality, we evaluate designers across several dimensions.
You move projects forward without waiting for perfect instructions and consistently push toward the best outcome for users and the business.
You use qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions, pay attention to details, and actively explore edge cases and failure scenarios.
You connect design decisions to measurable user or business outcomes and understand what changed because of your work.
You treat product development as a collaborative discipline and build strong, long-term relationships across Product, Engineering, Operations, and other teams.
You want to understand users, workflows, operational realities, and the business — not just the design tools being used.
You are comfortable working through the less glamorous parts of product development and can continue moving complex projects forward when constraints appear.
Your interfaces demonstrate precision across interaction design, typography, visual hierarchy, motion, states, and details.
You can explain complex product decisions clearly, concisely, and with the right level of context for the audience.
An updated portfolio is required to move forward in the process, including a password when applicable.
We are particularly interested in case studies involving internal tools, operational products, workflow systems, complex enterprise applications, developer tools, or AI-enabled products
Your portfolio should clearly explain:
Work completed under NDA is welcome. You can describe the problem, constraints, process, decisions, and impact without disclosing confidential information.
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
