Key Result Areas:

• Provide modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform digital delivery decisions.
• Design and deliver advanced analytics pipelines to support digital services and solutions.
• Apply machine learning and AI techniques to solve business challenges and improve service outcomes.
• Partner with digital programme teams, analysts, and architects to embed data science in solution delivery.
• Ensure data models and outputs are accurate, validated, and ethically applied.
• Share expertise in data science techniques and mentor colleagues on analytics best practice.
• Develop, train, and validate machine learning models to support digital transformation programmes.
• Build predictive models and dashboards to track adoption, performance, and impact of digital services.
• Translate business requirements into analytics solutions, ensuring outputs are practical and actionable.
• Support AI governance by documenting models, assumptions, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with QF data protection, information security, and AI governance frameworks.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging data science approaches, tools, and platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design data-driven solutions that align with QF’s strategic priorities.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline. Masters/PhD preferred.
• 8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience in data science or advanced analytics, with proven delivery of enterprise-level solutions, 3 of which at a supervisory level.
• Proficiency in statistical modelling, machine learning, natural language processing, and data visualisation. Skilled in tools such as Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, engineering pipelines, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI, and compliance standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 42001).
• Ability to present complex insights in a clear, business-focused manner for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
