$1,000 Sign-On Bonus – Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time – Lehigh Valley, PA

Abound Health is seeking compassionate, reliable Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout the Lehigh Valley, PA region. This role is perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible, balanced schedule.

Position Details

Part-Time (flexible scheduling based on client needs)

Service Area: Lehigh Valley, PA (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and surrounding communities)

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 for qualified candidates

Weekly Pay

• Opportunities for additional hours as caseload grows

About the Role

As a DSP, you will support individuals with I/DD in their homes and communities. Your work may include personal care, community engagement, skill-building, transportation, and companionship. You will help clients live safely, independently, and with dignity.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills (meal prep, hygiene, routines)

• Provide companionship and community engagement

• Assist with personal care as needed

• Support behavioral and social skill development

• Transport clients to appointments or activities (mileage reimbursed when applicable)

• Follow care plans and document services accurately

• Maintain a positive, person-centered approach

Requirements

• At least 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license & active auto insurance

• Ability to pass background and registry checks

• Comfortable with personal care and hygiene support

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently in home and community settings

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in installments)

• Weekly pay

• Paid onboarding & training

• Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) eligibility based on hours worked

Sign-On Bonus Details

• $333 after 90 days (20+ hours/week)

• $333 after 6 months (20+ hours/week)

• $334 after 1 year (20+ hours/week)

• Not available for RAP or Residential Services hires

• Must not have worked for Abound Health or affiliates within the last 18 months
