Job Description

Description: CCSD 89 is seeking a Full-Time Office Clerk/LMC (Library) Aide at Glen Crest Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position includes; assisting in office responsibilities such as morning attendance, answering incoming calls and assist with parent pick-up and drop off procedures. The other half of the day will be spent in the library shelving books, assisting student and covering staff lunches.

Qualifications � Experience - Knowledge Requirements:

All applicants for this position are required to meet Illinois requirements for aides, holding an ELS (PARA) license or SUB license.

  • Completion of requirements for a high school diploma. A college or university degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
  • Experience with the supervision of children in group settings. Previous work in childcare is preferred.
  • Experience with Apple computer systems and office production software.
  • Library experience a plus

Salary and Benefits: All non-certified staff that fall under the Support Professional Association "SPA" are placed on a salary schedule according to position and experience as part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The hourly range for this position is: $19.00-$22.75

Non-Certified staff experience 12 sick days and 2 personal days of paid time off. All full-time staff have the privilege of partaking in our health and dental insurance programs; these include 90% Board paid health insurance for the employee (80% Board paid for Family participants) and 100% Board paid dental insurance for the individual staff member.

Glenbard Township High School District 87 is the fourth-largest high school district in Illinois. Jessica Santee is the superintendent of schools. Glenbard District 87 encompasses 45 square miles within DuPage County, a suburban area some 30 miles west of Chicago.
