
POSITION: Contract/Hourly Employment/After School Program
REPORTS TO: Principal
The Student Success Coach is a professional educator who specializes in providing one-on-one or small group instruction to Third and Fourth Grade students outside of regular school hours. This type of "coaching" is designed to supplement the education that students receive during the school day and can be especially beneficial for students who are struggling with mathematical concepts/skills or who need extra support to reach their full academic potential. The role of the Student Success Coach is to work with Third and Fourth Grade students to identify their individual learning needs and goals, and to develop and implement a customized instruction plan to help them achieve those goals. This may involve reviewing and reinforcing classroom material, providing additional resources and materials, and working on problem solving strategies and critical thinking strategies.
SALARY: Compensation will be at a rate of $45.00 per hour for 3 hours per week (2 days per week) which also includes planning and preparing for a MAXIMUM of 28 weeks
