Job Details:

The primary responsibilities include feeding and watering chickens according to established schedules and procedures, monitoring flock health, and reporting any signs of illness or abnormal behavior. The role also involves cleaning and disinfecting poultry houses, equipment, and surrounding areas, as well as collecting eggs (if applicable) and ensuring their proper handling and storage. Additionally, assisting with loading and unloading birds for transport, maintaining accurate records of feed usage, mortality, and production, and following all biosecurity and safety protocols are essential. Monitoring the vaccination crew, mixing vaccines for birds, providing support to ensure the vaccination process is applied correctly, and performing vaccination audits and checks to ensure consistency are also key duties. The job includes performing minor repairs and maintenance on farm equipment and facilities, and supporting other farm operations as needed.
