Job Description

TITLE: Warehouse Employee

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner. Facilitating the movement of product and raw materials from one location to another, properly load and unload trailers, as well as properly pull product for shipping to customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to operate a forklift - certification preferred
• CDL A License not required but is a plus
• Box truck experience a plus
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shipping and Receiving (Driving Required)
• Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
• Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
• Unload, sort, and label incoming packages and materials
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, sealing, and labeling items
• Ensure accurate documentation of all shipments and maintain records of received and shipped items
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials as needed
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts

• Standing for long periods of time
• Grasping
• Getting on/off forklift
