AD Engineer – Technology Development (Floorcare)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support our global Technology Development team in developing next‑generation floorcare modules and mechanical components. You will work closely with R&D teams in Europe to provide high‑quality 3D models, drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for floorcare components and modules.

• Support concept development, design iterations, and design-for-manufacturing activities.

• Prepare documentation, BoMs, and standards according to Nilfisk R&D requirements.

• Collaborate with simulation and testing teams to refine mechanical designs.

• Support prototyping and design validation activities.

• Maintain consistent design quality across projects.

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.

• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred, but SolidWorks/Catia/Inventor also accepted).

• Experience with mechanical design principles, tolerances, and manufacturing constraints.

• Methodical and structured approach to documentation and version control.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of design accuracy.

• Good English communication skills.
