About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior BIM Coordinator – Civil & Infrastructure to join our growing BIM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating BIM deliverables, managing multidisciplinary model integration, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards, and supporting the successful delivery of large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.

This role requires strong technical expertise in BIM processes, infrastructure modeling, coordination, clash detection, and project delivery within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Coordination & Project Delivery

• 
  Lead BIM coordination activities for civil and infrastructure projects throughout design and construction stages.
• 
  Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models including Civil, Structural, Utilities, Roads, Landscape, and Architecture disciplines.
• 
  Ensure project BIM deliverables comply with client requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and project standards.
• 
  Facilitate coordination meetings and manage model reviews with project stakeholders.
• 
  Monitor BIM workflows and ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

Model Management & Quality Assurance

• 
  Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• 
  Conduct model audits and quality checks before submission.
• 
  Maintain model integrity and ensure adherence to naming conventions, data structures, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
• 
  Support implementation of ISO 19650 standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.

Clash Detection & Coordination

• 
  Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or equivalent platforms.
• 
  Track and manage clash resolution processes with internal teams and external consultants.
• 
  Generate clash reports and coordinate corrective actions.

Technical Leadership

• 
  Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Engineers and BIM Modelers.
• 
  Assist in developing BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
• 
  Support project teams in solving complex modeling and coordination issues.
• 
  Participate in project planning and resource allocation activities.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• 
  Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams regarding BIM requirements and deliverables.
• 
  Present BIM coordination reports and progress updates during project meetings.
• 
  Support project managers in managing BIM-related project risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 
  Professional certifications in BIM Management or Digital Engineering will be an advantage.
• 
  Minimum 8-10  years of experience in Civil and Infrastructure projects.
• 
  Minimum 3-5 years of BIM Coordination experience on major infrastructure projects.
• 
  Experience working on roads, highways, utilities, drainage, rail, airports, smart city, or urban infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• 
  GCC/UAE project experience is required
