In this challenging role, you will be supporting the FRC - Facility Resources department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Coordinates and administers capital improvement, renovation, maintenance, and operational projects on behalf of the Operations Division. Ensures compliance with College policies, South Carolina procurement laws, and Office of State Engineer requirements through effective project tracking, procurement coordination, contract administration, documentation management, budget monitoring, stakeholder communication, and project closeout activities that support the College's strategic and operational objectives.

A bachelor's degree and relevant project management experience.
Knowledge of Greenville Technical College's mission, strategic objectives, organizational structure, and operational needs. Experience coordinating projects, contracts, procurement activities, facilities operations, construction administration, or related administrative functions. Knowledge of project coordination principles, administrative procedures, project life cycle management and organizational practices. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage project documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders. Knowledge of construction processes, building systems, design standards, and applicable codes and regulations governing public construction projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and project tracking systems. Experience supporting construction, renovation, maintenance, or capital improvement projects. Knowledge of South Carolina procurement laws, regulations, and purchasing procedures. Familiarity with South Carolina Office of State Engineer (OSE) policies and administrative requirements related to Permanent Improvement Projects (PIP) and Capital Improvement Projects. Experience administering contracts, purchase orders, change orders, project budgets, and project schedules. Ability to review and maintain project records, construction documents, meeting minutes, schedules, and compliance documentation. Experience coordinating activities between architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and campus stakeholders. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously while maintaining established schedules, budgets, and priorities. Ability to conceptualize operational or programmatic improvements and lead the implementation of effective solutions from planning through completion. Ability to monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, regulatory agencies, campus stakeholders, and executive leadership.
