What You'll Be Doing

  • Accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks and materials using scale systems
  • Generate tickets, invoices, and shipping documentation with attention to detail
  • Coordinate truck flow and communicate with drivers, dispatch, and plant personnel
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in internal systems
  • Support safe and efficient operations by following site procedures and safety standards

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in transactions and documentation
  • Effective communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency with computers, data entry systems, and office software
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliable performance in a quarry setting

Work Environment
This role is based at an active quarry site and includes both office and outdoor responsibilities. The position involves frequent interaction with truck traffic, exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions, and requires adherence to safety protocols at all times. This position will require regional travel to assist in covering other Heidelberg Materials quarries on occasion.
